SUMMER SKATING OPTIONS
With ice speedskating being mainly a winter sport, many of our members participate in inline skating during the summer to maintain their fitness and technique.

Besides having multiple skating events during the week, IndySpeed also promotes the only inline skate racing series in the state. The IndySpeed / Buckeye League Summer Inline Series, Held at the Major Taylor Velodrome.
Also new for 2009 are a larger prizelist, new divisions for Quad skaters, and we now have ONLINE REGISTRATION!

Coordinating our summer inline events are two of IndySpeed's National Inline Champions Craig Rice and Bob Harwell. These two travel all over during the summer months, "wearing the spots!" and working with members at inline events throughout the Midwest!

WHERE WE INLINE SKATE
During the summer months inline skating goes on in several areas of town.
Many impromtu skating sessions are on the NW side, in Eagle Creek Park.

Monday nights are at Major Taylor Velodrome.

Friday nights are on the Monon Trail, in Carmel.
Monon Trail north of 111th Street in Carmel, just east of Monon Recreation center
Plus other impromptu events, depending on weather, and training for upcoming, weekend events throughout the region.
